~~A hand towards pain-free living.
I was drawn to massage therapy in high school after my first and very pleasant massage. After being in multiple car accidents as a kid and dealing with a lot of stress, I was living with chronic pain and migraines. The feeling I left with was a breath of fresh air.
I went to massage school at Clover Park Technical College in 2007. I was fortunate to have three incredible instructors that passed on an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and Kinesiology (the study of movement), and techniques that would allow my clients to life pain-free.
Because of my history with neck pain and migraines, I naturally gravitated towards that kind of work. I have also enjoyed working with clients that suffer from anxiety and depression, are experiencing pregnancy, or have autoimmune disorders like Lupus and Fibromyalgia.
I received my Intra-Oral Endorsement in 2013, which involved coursework in advanced neck massage and mouth/jaw massage. This gave me the tools to help people suffering from whip-lash and TMJ disorder on a more complete level.
I love learning more about the body every day, and am pursing a degree in Neurobiology because of it. I will go the extra mile to ensure you are receiving the care you deserve.
