Lonestar Salon Staff- I want to thank all the ladies at the LoneStar Salon in Tumwater, WA. They are always so cheerful and bright when I come in. The salon is gorgeously decorated and kept neat and tidy. I have known Lisa Musgrove-Kibler, the owner, since our childhood years. She is caring and kind and always puts a smile on other’s faces. Jessica Clark is my stylist, and also, I have known her for years. A genuine soul as well. She is always full of energy and is always happy to see me. She makes sure that I am comfortable with a magazine and coffee or tea, if I want it. She takes special care of me when shampooing....a blissful experience. I appreciate how she really listens to what I say so she is sure to get my hair just the way I like it. Jessica is so brilliant! I’m always so amazed at how she can get my hair so soft, straight and silky smooth.... especially because it is naturally curly. Her highlighting skills are amazing and she works quickly, yet gently. I honestly can’t remember what life was like before I started going to the LoneStar Salon. One thing I have observed, about the girls that work at the salon, is that they are all individually dedicated to their clients and their careers. When you are there, they welcome conversation with other clientele, yet at the same time, you feel like you are the only one there- completely pampered and without interruption. Besides their individually and personal dedication to their clients, I have also noticed how each of them come together as a family to help, build and strengthen one another in a way that I find unique and admirable. I am lucky enough to know four of the girls that work at the LoneStar Salon- Lisa, Jessica, Carissa and Shera. All of them beautiful, professional and charismatic people of which I would be honored to have as my stylist. Sweet people, great service, tranquil surrounding with knowledgeable stylists and nice conversation. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I see Carissa at Lone Star, and I LOVE her. She does a really good job listening to what I want, and sometimes even when I don't know... what I want, she has been able to give it to me anyway. She does magic with hair, and is great about answering my questions about "hair care". Also, she was really nice when I was late to an appointment once, and she still saw me...not that I recommend everyone show up late! But I thought she was really fabulous for seeing me anyway. Hi There- I wanted to send a quick email to you about the amazing service I got when I came to the salon. I was very uneasy about having to start over with another hairstylist and to be honest was scared of what I would get. I found your salon online and decided to take the jump and make the call. I came in for my appointment on Friday the 22nd and even though there had been an error in my appointment (was written in the incorrect book) the gal at the front desk made me feel welcome. Kathy was also up at teh front desk doing other paperwork. Upon seeing and hearing there was an error she stepped right up and offered to cut my hair so that I didn't have to reschedule.
Kathy took me back to her station and we went over what I was thinking I wanted (which I had no idea of) and what she thought of felt would work with my hair and such. I was still very nervous but Kathy made me feel welcomed and like I had been a client for years. I absolutely LOVE my new hair cut!!! It is so quick and easy and I feel amazing. I can still be the country girl I am and then with very little effort I can be the professional I need to be for work. I would have never thought to add the texture and layers as Kathy did. I want to thank her for the amazing job she did and I am definetly going to keep coming to the salon for all my needs.
